Alison Doody
Alison Doody is a Dublin native who was born into the richest family of Dublin the Irish city in 1966. Doody is the youngest of three siblings. She studied in a nunnery, and developed an interest for the arts. After that, she went to an institution called the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left as she did not have the passion and thought she would spend a year away to consider the idea. While she was sitting with colleagues in a caf the still photographer approached her and inquired about her interest in modelling. Since she thought she could make use of the pocket money, she decided to say yes. Soon, she was working professionally as modeling. Modeling contracts lead to commercial projects which took her across the globe. Then, one day, a casting director was impressed by her work, and suggested that she consider acting instead. She was sent to London when she was 19 in which she was able to win an audition for the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). The actress was so enthralled by acting, she worked in this field. Her first film was followed by a couple of TV dramas that were shot in London as well as Dublin. Her breakthrough came in 1989 when she played the Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
