Uma Karuna Thurman is an American actress who gained notoriety for her role as "Mia Wallace" in the dark comedy movie 'Pulp Fiction.' The movie's role made Thurman one of the most prominent stars in Hollywood. She's a committed actor who doesn't mind losing her glam image. The deglamorized part she played in Kill Bill Kill Bill movie series earned numerous accolades. Her unusual family gave her an Hindu surname and placed her in a Buddhist setting.
